Kein problem Burgerking, ich kann auch Deutsch lesen, aber ich brauch 10 Minuten für eine Satz zu schreiben =)

I guess the Dorsoduro will have the same mappings, or maybe the Sport mapping will be more nerveous. Wait & See ...

Same thing here, even the dealers are not well informed by Aprilia. I went to my dealer 2 weeks ago, asking him if he had some news about the 3 mappings and he looked at me as if I was crazy ... He never heard about those 3 mappings before. So he contacted Aprilia, and called me back later saying "Ok you are right, there will be 3 mappings on the Shiver, but how do you know?" :D

So I have ordered my Shiver (finally!)

The first test has been released yesterday in French : http://motorevue.fr/site/aprilia-sl-750-shiver-29527.html

Here you can see a video of the new "Shiver 2008" : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RNQumk92Hs

The French ride test says :

After 8 months, the Shiver is now finalized, its potential is finally usable. The Ride by Wire technology works better than before with a good feeling, smoothness and response. 3 mappings like on the Mana. The bike is more precise than in the past (1 year before, the fork was worst, too smooth)
The passenger handle has been redesigned too for a better confort.

    Hi All,

Sorry to reply in English, but my German is not sufficient. Hello Markus ;)

The Shiver has now 3 mappins that you can select by pushing on the start button before starting the engine. Moreover, the seat has been redesigned because it was too high...

The models that we order now in France are already equipped like that. It is also possible to inject these 3 mappings into the "old models", it's just an electronic program.

Here you can see the result : http://www.shiver750.com/post_p_2617.html#2617

Modes : T for Touring, S like Sport and R for Rain

If you have any quesion, just ask ;) ( in German if you wish, I'll just answer in English )
